Muritala Adegboyega Ibrahim is the Founder and CEO of Misa Limited, a real estate agency that has since evolved into a property development company transacting across private and public spaces. With over 20 years of experience, Murtala has leveraged his entrepreneurial skills to start businesses across real estate, specialised foundations, food processing, building materials and aluminium works. Prior to establishing his company, Murtala worked in his family business, Inaolaji Group. However, the strong desire to forge his path led him to another venture. In November 1996, Muritala incorporated his own company; Misa Nigeria Limited, and expanded from a one-man venture to a corporation employing over 80 permanent staff and 150 contract workers. The company has expanded its services from real estate transactions to constructing multi-development estates in Lagos, including a flagship 15-floor mixed-use high-rise on Glover Road, certified by LEED and EDGE. Driven by an innate desire to contribute to economic and societal progress, Murtala established the MAI Foundation. The foundation supports healthcare projects funding specialised hospital equipment in various hospitals and constructing doctor’s quarters. He frequently participates in speaking engagements at gatherings of MBA students, and government and industry leaders. Murtala studied in Georgia State, USA. He discovered his entrepreneurial skills there, engaging in small-time trading with other young students. He earned a degree in Business (Marketing) from Arden University. He also acquired professional accounting certification at the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Nigeria.
